Research and Development

Multiple positions available from July 2010

Equipos developers are involved in the full development life cycle, from conception through to completion. R&D candidates will be required to take part in basic written/mathematical aptitude tests.

Test Analyst

Required experience/personal attributes:

• Understanding of the full development life cycle
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of Test Director and QuickTestPro (QTP)
• Minimum 2 years experience testing Windows-based applications using VB.NET
• Minimum 2 years experience testing Web Applications (would be beneficial)
• An understanding of SQL querying any object orientated development language (would be beneficial)
• Experience of the financial market place (would be beneficial)

Technical Tester

Required experience/personal attributes:

• Understanding of the full development life cycle
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of Test Director and QuickTestPro (QTP)
• Minimum 2 years experience testing Windows-based applications using VB.NET
• Minimum 2 years experience testing Web Applications (would be beneficial)
• A thorough understanding of SQL querying; any object orientated development language.
• Software development experience highly advantageous
• Experience of the financial market place (would be beneficial)

Technical Author

Required experience/personal attributes:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of interpreting highly technical information into an understandable format for a wider audience
• Experience of writing release documentation/manuals/user guides for application use and system maintenance/installation
• Interpretation and reflection of updates and changes through development cycle and projects
• Experience with creation of and maintenance of Help & Manual documentation or other on-line solutions
• Experience of the financial market place (would be beneficial)

VB.NET Developer

Required experience/personal attributes:

• Degree educated
• Minimum 2 years experience developing Windows-based applications using VB.NET
• Minimum 2 years experience working with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 (stored procedures, triggers, function, etc)
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Design/Programming
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Background knowledge of developing VB6 applications (beneficial)
• Experience of the financial market place (beneficial)

ASP/VB.NET Developer

Required experience/personal attributes:

• Minimum 2 years experience developing Web Applications and Web services using VB.NET and ASP.NET
• Minimum 2 years experience working with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 (stored procedures, triggers, function, etc)
• Good understanding of HTML, XML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, and other web related technologies
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Design/Programming
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Background knowledge of developing Classic ASP and VB6 applications (would be beneficial)
• Experience of the financial market place (would be beneficial)
